Last updated: July 10, 2026

1. Who we are

Papi is operated by Awe Oluwatimileyin ("we", "us"), the seller and data controller for personal data processed through this service. You can contact us at the address listed at the end of this notice for any privacy-related request.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: email address, password hash, and authentication identifiers.
  • Manuscript content: text you paste or upload, and the designed books generated from it.
  • Support messages: anything you send us through support channels.
  • Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, and basic telemetry used for security and product improvement.
  • Order data: collected by our reseller Paddle (see below) when you make a purchase.
  • Subscription data: if you subscribe to Papi Pro, we store the Paddle customer ID, subscription ID, plan, status, and current billing period so we can grant access to Pro features. Card details are held by Paddle — we never see or store them.
  • Cover request data: if you request a free professional cover, we store the book title, genre, notes, and any reference URL you provide so our design team can deliver the cover.

5. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, and security obligations. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Security
